Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
They arrived at 5-54 a.m.
It was another frosty start to the day.
A tiny bird and a Crow stood watching them head for the beach access ramp.
Beach Buoy was pleased that the birds didn't feel the need to fly away.
It was the opposite on the beach.
A lady walked her dog along the water's edge.
She paused every now and then to photograph the glow of light
The Gulls on the water's edge took flight.
The odd thing was that the lady didn't stay for the actual rise of the Sun.
She headed off to the car park.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south a lady passed by.
She was heading south too, but at a quicker pace.
"Morning."
"Morning."
She marched off along the water's edge.
The bruised sky to the north waited for the healing heat of the Sun.
6-07.
The Sun rose.
Just what the Doctor ordered.
If Beach Buoy was only allowed a few minutes a day, then these would those.
Beach Buoy paused at the water's edge.
He watched a Lone Gull fly north to south.
Geese flew silently out into the bay.
The Sea Serpent Marker.
One of the Beach Crows cast a sunshine shadow.
Once again, the small slope that leads to Stubborn Dog Stack was heavily frosted.
"Morning Mate."
It was 6-44 a.m.
Beach Buoy added a slack handful of small but suitable stones.
Filling the gaps.
He patted
THE
stone.
He stood, drinking coffee.
Skylarks sang in the crisp morning air.
There are many worse places to have a coffee.
"See you mate."
They returned to the low level route.
Team One Black Ear were having a sit and think on a large piece of driftwood.
It transpired that Milo their Borrowed Dog was trying to eat it!
They all headed back together.
Hugo.
The Dog with one black ear.
They chatted as they walked.
They walked as they chatted.
The lady who walks the full length of the beach headed south along the water's edge.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed south too.
Screams and laughter travelled along the beach as the brass monkey swimmers went into the sea.
Beach Buoy and his walking companions all headed up the southernmost access ramp.
Team One Black Ear sat on the
"Sand out of your shoes."
bench.
Beach Buoy had time to kill.
He chose to spend it leaning on The Esplanade Wall.
Foot and paw prints crossed rippled sands.
Another Dog.
Rubes.
Not Not Beach Buoy and his dog walked the water's edge.
Beach Buoy would bet a million pounds that they would turn at the start of the dunes.
Head north along The Esplanade and say "Now do." when "Morning." was said...
They turned at the start of the dunes.
They headed along The Esplanade.
"Morning."
"Now do."
Another Dog had a sit and think.
It's times like this that sadden Beach Buoy so much. When a pet dies their thoughts cease.
When Stubborn Dog went, Beach Buoy was sadden to think that all the little thoughts and decisions that the dog made didn't exist anymore.
He wondered what Ruby was thinking?
BEACH BUOY.
