26, MARCH 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

 Wednesday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off in the fog.

As he had put Another Dog into the van, he knew some people would wonder why they were going so early?

It was 5-40 a.m.

It was foggy.

So not for photo opportunities then?

It's just who Beach Buoy is.

Loves being on the beach.

The peace, the wildlife, the beach regulars and yes a change to photograph and share some of the beach scenes.

For a while its an escape to another world

They arrived at 5-50, around sunrise.
From the car park Beach Buoy could see that the tide was low.
It was beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.
That's roundabout where visibility ended.
They set off towards the wreck.

Only half of the Village was visible.

The wreck.

A breeze was blowing from the south west.
Beach Buoy looked up.
There was a hint of blue sky.

He could see the fog moving out to sea.
The fog seemed to go as high as a block of flats, clear skies above.
He stood watching the fog drift out to sea.

6-12.
The last of the fog began to clear.
The Sun broke through.

So lucky.
It was becoming brighter by the second.

The early bird had caught the worm.
That's how Beach Buoy was feeling.

The Skylarks began to sing.

Magpies made Magpie noises.

From back in the dunes, a Creaking Pheasant joined the chorus.

Beach Buoy paused.
He took a drink of hot coffee.
He savoured the sights and sounds.
This is why he is up and out so early.

He looked north.
The full Village was as clear as a bell,
a still and silent bell.

The Yellow light was Green for go for some of the water's edge Gulls.

Others followed.

The Sea Serpent.

Beach Buoy collected some suitable stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.

Inland, an early morning bad news siren sounded.

" Morning Mate."
It was 6-34 a.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

The Gulls all headed inland.

Coffee and a sit and think.

The fog curtain had gone.

The Sun was the star of the show.

The coffee was perfect.

The stoney stack made an excellent cup holder.

He stood to go.

The Sea Serpent and it's marker.

To the north on the beach below, Beach Buoy could see Team One Black Ear were heading south.

"See you mate."

They headed south too, along the dune edge.

They walked the dune edge.

Beach Buoy hoped it was a Skylark.
A tiny bird sat at the top of the dune grass.

South on the dune edge.

Beach Buoy paused.
He watched a Skylark take off.
He watched rise almost vertically, this one didn't burst into song .
It dropped like a stone, back to the ground, as they all do.

A self conscious tank trap wears a dune grass wig.

Another bad news siren drifted along the beach.

They crossed the grey rocks.
Back to the beach below.

Rubes.
Ruby.
Another Dog.

They headed back.
Team One Black Ear were too far ahead to catch up.

A man up on a dune heights applauded.
Beach Buoy half expected him to shout.
"Excellent beach walk Sir."
In reality he was just removing dune sands from his hands...
