SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 16, DEC. 2024.

16, DECEMBER 2024.

110 YEARS SINCE GERMAN SHIPS BOMBARDED HARTLEPOOL.

130 MURDERED.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog parked up in Seaton Park.

Mr Gunn/ Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie arrived a moment later.

They chatted briefly.

Mr. Gunn/Lunn set off.

Beach Buoy faffed.

Finally both dogs were beach ready.

It has been a Full Moon.

So Peaceful today....

It was as mild as it was peaceful.
It felt more like Spring than almost Christmas.

A pleasant breeze blew from the west.

The tide was way out once again.
A man with a Border Collie headed North.

The Moon seemed determined to spend the day by the seaside.

The Seaton Carew Wreck.

The wreck today.

Beach Buoy and the dogs headed southwards.

New Wind Turbine Towers beyond the Dunes.

The view north.

They walked the low level walk to reach Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
It was 9-06.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the double driftwood bench.
He watched the sea and his dogs.

Team members wondered what was next...

Sit and think.

A lady walked the beach below, northwards with her German Shepherd.
Thankfully the dog was on its lead.

The view from the stack.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and the dogs slid down the small slope.
Back onto the beach.

A Cherry Cola bottle.
It was from 2007.
Beach Buoy placed it in his beach bag.
Beach cleaned.

They headed back.
The lady with the German Shepherd appeared from the dunes.
She led the way south as she walked the strand-line.

Beach Buoy and the dogs were somewhere between the strand-line and the water's edge.

The Clock Tower.

The breeze had become a wind.

Wind-blown sand that had collected up against The Esplanade began to snake it's way back to the sea.

A Doodle Dog danced as it chased a bouncing ball.

Others were just starting their walks.

BEACH BUOY.
