Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog parked up in Seaton Park.
It was a new beach book day.
They took the short walk to the beach.
There was hardly a breeze.
The Wind Turbines spun slowly out in the more exposed bay.
It was overcast.
Someone whistled loudly from The Esplanade.
It was Mr. Gunn/ Lunn.
He and excellent dog Alfie were heading back to their car after their four mile circular walk.
It was alongside Beach Buoy's van.
They shared distant waves.
They set off southwards.
A man and his Corgi took the lead.
Beach Buoy was drawn to the wreck once again.
The vessel was just coming ashore once more.
There was a good spread of fresh shingle scatter to search, just south of the wreck.
Beach Buoy searched his way south.
The man with the Corgi returned to the Village.
There were no finds worth keeping.
Beach Buoy collected five stones that were suitable for Stubborn Dog Stack.
They climbed the big slope.
They walked the "easy" route.
"Morning Mate."
It was bang on 9 a.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy sat a while.
"What a change from yesterday"
he thought.
Beach Buoy looked to Sand Martin Corner.
He wondered if yesterday's stormy sea had left any gifts?
Only one way to find out.
"See you mate."
They followed the "easy" route southwards.
After clambering over grey rocks, there was more shingle to search.
The sea had carried out a thorough investigation.
No stone had been left unturned.
Jackpot!
A lovely sea alley.
Just the one keeper .
It was enough.
Beach Buoy wandered back to the Village with a spring in his step and a sea alley in his pocket.
Their walk almost completed.
Others ware just setting off with sea and thoughts for Company.
BEACH BUOY.
