Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
It was a mild but damp morning.
It wasn't raining, just everything was damp.
Cars, roads and footpaths.
The air felt quite still without a chill.
They headed down Elizabeth Way.
It was light enough, but the street lights were still on.
They began to turn off randomly.
A C Moon hung over the Cricket club.
A Parcel of Fourteen Oyster Catchers flew over Tees Road.
They turned, heading to the Cricket Club.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached The Esplanade.
Starlings on the beach.
There was a similar number of them on The Esplanade.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 8-14.
The south was swirls of scarlet.
An aeroplane headed south as if impatient for the sunrise.
The tide was a fair way out.
The wreck was just about ashore.
Beach Buoy was drawn to it like an old friend.
The litter pick lady was working her way from strand-line to dune edge and back again and again.
They shared distant waves.
The wreck today.
They headed south towards a lovely looking sky.
The beach was vast.
Everyone has space should they want it.
Sea pottery.
Masked Cloud.
It seemed like the Village was under servailance.
The Sea Serpent.
The rest of the Bay looked calm.
Only The Sea Serpent was making waves.
8-36 a.m.
The Sun appeared from behind the hills.
Minutes later it was in the cloud.
Beach Buoy heard pounding on the sand...
Horses-by-the-sea.
Beach Buoy collected five stones for Stubborn Dog Stack.
They walked the low level route.
"Morning Mate."
It was 8-44.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They continued south on the dune's edge.
Beach Art.
By A.N.Other.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the Tank Traps.
Beach Buoy searched the shingle.
No finds.
A big dog bounded over.
It looked friendly enough.
Beach Buoy put Another Dog up on a Tank Trap just incase.
He half sat on the tank traps making beach notes.
The owner of the big dog walked by.
Santa Hat on.
Coffee in hand.
His dog now on the lead.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Am l O.K. to let him back off the lead ?
"Yes of course."
They went their separate ways
The man and his mate half sat on tank traps drinking coffee as the dog ran around having fun.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back north.
The Sun came out.
Full December Sun.
Boxing Day dippers head to the sea.
There would be a bigger dip later opposite The Village Green.
Dip dip dip,
My Blue Ship.
BEACH BUOY.
