Beach Buoy placed a Reluctant Another Dog in the van.
It was 7-36 a.m.
He could hear voices.
It was the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple passing by as they walked quickly to the beach.
Beach Buoy locked the front door.
He joined Another Dog in the van.
No Borrowed Dog today.
Beach Buoy drove to Seaton Park.
Radio on.
He parked up.
There was only one other vehicle parked up.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn and Excellent Dog Alfie had already set off on their four mile circular walk in the half light.
Beach Buoy opened the side door and began to faff.
"Nice Van Buddy." said a passing dog walker.
"Thank you" answered Beach Buoy as he instigated double hood preparation.
Hoods up, they headed to the beach.
It was still quite dark.
A Seacoal Gatherer collected the recent healthy deposits of coal.
Only a pickup truck.
Years ago there would be a number of those big ex-army trucks.
Big Green Goddess Types.
The seacoal was that deep at times back then.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
The seacoal truck did too.
Maybe looking for deeper, easier to gather coal?
Beach Buoy checked back north.
The streetlights on the front resembled a Ferris Wheel.
Sea swimmers screamed as they entered the water.
The tide was well out,
way beyond The Seaton Carew.
A Crow stood on the timbers.
Perhaps looking for a long gone nest?
The air was almost still.
There was the slightest of breezes from the north west.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south by the water's edge.
Up on the strand-line, Team one black ear did too.
Hundreds of Gulls stood by the sea.
A Container Ship entered the River.
An almost identical one left at the the same time.
It looked like a trick with mirrors.
It seemed unusual to have them pass one another between the two Gares.
North and South.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the Big slope.
Team One Black Ear stopped for a chat.
Hugo, the dog with one black ear almost reversed into position for his regular shoulder scratch as the chat took place.
Chat.
Shoulder Scratch done.
They went their separate ways.
8-31.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on two short Driftwood planks.
In time...
"See you mate."
They dropped down the small slope onto the beach below.
They meandered their way back to the Village.
A lady jogged by with her Doddle Dog.
Another Doodle Dog dashed to say hello.
Then gone in a Doodle dash.
Beach Buoy spotted a small white button.
He placed it in his beach bag.
Just a button?
No, it was a beach button.
If you know, you know.
The Council's Beach Tractor was tipping wind-blown sand back at the water's edge.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the van.
BEACH BUOY.
