SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 23 OCTOBER, 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
They had set off at 2-42 p.m.
As they left the house, Beach Buoy could hear the noiseiest boat in the world, travel down the river.
It was a Tees Pilot boat.
Their weak sunshine shadows joined them for the walk.
They accessed the beach via the steps north of the access ramp.
It was 3-02 p.m. when they stepped onto the sand.

The tide was well out.

Sadly lots of dead and dying shellfish were strewn along the beach.

Tragic.

A lady cyclist had been photographing the scene.
She headed north.

How very sad.

They headed south.
The air was still.

Six Crows walked the dune edge.

PIPSQUEAK
was
here.

Someone had written

I LOVE YOU
in the sand.

Perhaps PIPSQUEAK is smitten.

Two ladies walked south at the dune edge.
Each wore a pointed wooden hat
One yellow.
One red.
Mustard and Ketchup out for a stroll.
A hazy Sun became a lazy sun.
Beach Buoy pulled up two hoods.

"Afternoon Mate."
It was 3-40.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He picked up the wobbly driftwood plank.
He drank coffee as he watched the sea.
Low tide would be at 5-37.
There was time to go to Sand Martin Corner via the beach.
"See you mate."
They dropped down to the beach, the continued south.

A Beach-found camera.
Waterproof.
Shockproof.
🤔
Time will tell.

Time to head back.

A hazy Sun returned.

Beach fisherman.
A lady with long hair headed south on the dune heights.
A bonny blue ship sailed out to sea.
