SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 22, OCTOBER, 2023.

Sunday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the beach access ramp.
It was 7-19 a.m.
Voices followed them.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were just behind them.
They all headed towards the sea.
The air was chilly but still.
It was less than two hours to high tide.
The light was gorgeous, a photograph could not do it justice.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple sped ahead.
Beach Buoy dawdled.
A large parcel of Oyster Catchers flew towards the River.
Gulls worked the water's edge.
Steam rose from a warmer sea in the chilly air.
Pink clouds and vapour trails were dotted and dashed across the pale blue sky.

7-43.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was an hour or so to high tide
The was such a run of sea water after a wave had broke onto the beach that Beach Buoy decided to have coffee at a safe spot on the beach below to save a possible soaking on their return to the beach.

"See you mate."
They returned to the beach, avoiding a soaking
They sat on a dune edge to the north.

Beach Buoy watched the dramatic sea.
He had thought that a seabird had perched on top of the Sea Serpent Marker.
A squint of the eyes showed it to be light , dislodged by the strength of the earlier storm.

They watched the Sun come up.

It was a glorious glow.

Coffee finished they wandered vto the water's edge.

Seafront windows took it in turns to reflect the Golden Sun.

One last look at the Sun.
They headed north.
Mr Gunn/ Nunn approached with the excellent Alfie.
They chatted as Beach Buoy gave the little dog a shoulder scratch.
Mr. Gunn/Nunn had a gift for Beach Buoy.
It was "Back in the car."
They arranged to meet up back at the car park.
After Mr.Gunn/Nunn and Alfie had finished their circular walk.
Beach Buoy would make a coffee as he waited for their return.

The van's tyres looked like been off-road.
It was sandy car park.

Purdy, the little brown passed with her mam.
"Morning."
"Morning."

Beach Buoy drank a strong milky coffee.
Mr.Gunn/Nunn returned.
Before too long, the biggest Pumpkin that Beach Buoy had ever seen was in the van.

BEACH BUOY.
