The Sun was already setting.
They had driven along the sea front.
Around half a dozen surfers were in the sea.
V.W. Campervans nearby.
The waves were perfect for the surfers, particularly opposite The Village Green.
The water was a lovely metallic-looking light blue.
A man threw a ball for his two dogs as they all headed north.
Gulls crossed the dunes, heading out to a bay of metallic blue sea and a pink sky.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog wandered southwards.
The tide was well in
They headed south.
A couple with a white Scotty dog overtook them.
The tide was heading out but the sea seemed reluctant to go.
"Evening Mate."
It was 6-23 p.m.
He added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy set up the wobbly driftwood plank.
He drank coffee as he watched ships head out to sea.
A bright orange one left Hartlepool.
A black and red one left the Tees.
Best head back.
It was only 6-34.
Light was fading quickly.
Beach Buoy lit the two colour changing light that were attached to Another Dog's harness and the one attached to his beach bag.
Flashing lights lit the way.
They headed back.
A dog-less man approached from the north.
He turned back when he saw Beach Buoy and Another Dog.
The strange man went up to a dune height, he stood watching Beach Buoy's and Another Dog's progress.
A couple headed south.
Hand in hand in half light.
BEACH BUOY.
