SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 14 JUNE 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-40 p.m.
It was overcast, but mild with a slight breeze from the south.
A Large Gull that had dared to fly low over the Little Tern Area was "Escorted" to the outer boundary by half a dozen, very vocal Little Terns.

The Little Tern Warden was on the promenade, bristling with helpful information.
Down at the water's edge an "Activity" was taking place.

The Village looked bonnie in its dramatic cloud hat. Some would even go so far to describe the hat as flamboyant in appearance.

They headed south as a couple and their dogs headed north.

The scattered colourful buckets gave the game away.. the "Activity." was a sand castle building competition.

Sunshine came and went again and again.
Random Wind Turbines were picked out to take their turn to shine.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed up to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy placed seven beach gathered stones in suitable gaps in the stack.
He watched as two people and three Spaniels headed south. The troupe stopped at three quarters of beach walk length, returning to the village to the north.

"See you mate."
They headed back to the openness of the beach.

They wandered back on the wet rippled sand.
The photograph looks as if it were taken from a boat..

A twist of storm-torn seaweed had the colours and meloncony of a discarded army tunic.

The headed to the Promenade.
Parents were gathered waiting to welcome the sand castle competitors.
