20 JUNE 2022, SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach on a sunglasses bright evening.
They arrived in the busy beach car park
at 6-21 p.m.
As the descend the beach access ramp, a metal detectorist walked to the sea.
As he walked, he swept his device ahead of him, like a radar station on legs.

They were on the sand.
There was a pollen-free breeze blowing off the sea in a South Westerly direction.
Pop up tents had popped up.
The beach felt more afternoon than it did evening.

They headed south.
The tide was well out, enough beach for all.
A jogger headed north.
A couple with a pushchair headed for more difficult soft sand from the water's edge.
A man sat on a driftwood bench watching a child dig in the sand like an excited puppy.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy had five stones in his hands.
Potato sized stones.
You know., The potatoes that you don't mind peeling. Just big enough to make the effort worth it.
"Evening Mate."
He patted the stone
He has already added the others.
The stood and watched the bay as they spent some time with Stubborn Dog

"See you mate "
The headed down to the beach.
The height of the tide, or lack of it,meant there was ample beach access to Sand Martin Corner.
It would be almost rude not to wander down.

A bald man checked the time on his wrist watch twice as he strode north.
A tiny trip hazard of a dog was in and out of the man's legs as sped along.

They stood near the Tank Traps for a while.

A young couple were sat near the structures.
The man wore a Tank Trap coloured coat.
Up to eight Sand Sand Martins out on an aerial display for them all

They headed back along the wet reflecting sands.
Up ahead, a young man picked at the water's edge, like a human pebble with legs.

They headed to the van as others came and went.

BEACH BUOY.
