SATURDAY,04,JUNE. 2022. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the car park at 6-12 a.m.
A man was heading back to his Silver van with his Border Collie.
As Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down the access ramp, a man in a red coat was heading up back to the car park. He stamped sand from his shoes as he walked.
"Morning." said the man to Beach Buoy's feet. He didn't look up.
"Morning." replied Beach Buoy as the man headed for the Promenade.

It was very overcast.
A fresh breeze blew across a slate grey sea.
Up to the south end of the beach , a Brown Retriever was getting very very wet.
The 7 a.m. club were up to the south too.
It was a relatively short walk to the water's edge.
The tide was well in.
A man headed north, having a conversation on his mobile phone.
He held the phone as if it were a bomb about to go off.

He headed off to the distance.

As the walk progressed, the sea claimed more and more of the beach.
It was around half an hour to high tide.

It was 6-47 a.m. by the time they reached Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Morning Mate."
He sat down on a sea-facing stack stone.
He drank coffee.
It wasn't just a warm drink, as it can be sometimes, today was much needed Coffee.
A fresh breeze began to blow.
It began to feel chilly.
There was no coat this morning.
It was a double hoodie day; both hoods went up.
The last of the coffee was drank.
"See you mate "

The Stack View.
They slipped down the sandy slope.
Then they headed back.
Gulls hung over the dune edge, in the breeze.
The beach combing Border Collie Couple walked the water's edge as the tide peaked.
No shingle searching today.

Another Dog hopped into a dog-dug hole. She had forgotten her tape and clipboard.
She told Beach Buoy to make a note that the hole was Another Dog deep.

A man walked barefoot in the sea, he had a fishing rod and a watershy dog.
The man headed south.
He walked as he fished.
He fished as he walked.

The sea had began to pull back.
A blank canvas awaited foot and paw prints.
