SEATON SANDS 15 AUGUST 2020.

5-40 am saw Beach Buoy shuffling downstairs.
he was overtaken by Stubborn Dog, trotting down on three legs as is his norm.
He won't use his back left leg when going downstairs for some reason. This differs from when he is on the beach and has a habit of not using any.

Beach Buoy made a coffee to take to the beach.
He bought a new thermal cup and it saves making a cup after the beach.
The downside is that he doesn't have to use the kettle on the van hob, listening to the kettle white blowing always brought a smile to Beach Buoy's face...
They reached the car park at 6-01 am
A  man in short shorts stood on the promenade, talking to a Captain Birdseye look-a-like.
The sky and sea were grey.
There was a mild breeze off the sea.
The tide was well out, so far out it looked like the sea and the dunes had had a falling out.

There was a slight break in the greyness, hanging over the Headland.
The lighthouse flashed.

AS ABOVE.

Dollops of seaweed were strewn along the strand-line.
They headed south.

The Tees Pilot Boat headed out from the river and headed for a ship that had just taken aim at the river mouth.
Hunter Boagey.
Beach Buoy's Great Grandfather was a Pilot based at Hartlepool.

Yet another Balloon had blown in, off the sea.
It was burst and collected for a beach clean along with  some plastic bottles.

They went to North Gare Pier Corner.
It looked like the Sand Martins had left.

SKYLARKS GONE.
LITTLE TERNS GONE.
SAND MARTINS GONE.
😢

The 7 am club came into view and before too long Mari the Large Poodle was over for her neck scratch.

Then it was back to the van to enjoy the pre-made coffee.

The 7-30 am keep fit club arrived and headed for the beach.

BEACH BUOY.

DRIFTWOOD STUBBORN DOG UPDATE.

Am on Beach.
Been washed ashore at Robin Hoods Bay.
Ended up near that ramp, you know the one.
Not sure how long I will be here.
At the mercy of the sea and its tides as you know.
At least the fog has cleared.
Been thinking about my mates in the forest.
It all seems so long ago.
I wonder where they all ended up?
Anyway tide on way back in so could be off again soon?
Miss you both.
