| They reached the beach at 6-51 pm. It was muggy, mild and a little overcast. Saltburn was basking in evening sunshine as it so often seems to do. Stubborn Dog wouldn't walk so he was carried down to the water's edge. Swimmers swam as Tugs headed back to the river after guided a ship into Hartlepool Docks. |

| They just sat a while. They headed back. It was nice to visit the beach no matter how fleetingly. BEACH BUOY. |
