06 AUGUST 2020. SEATON SANDS.

It was 6-50 pm and very muggy.
So muggy that Beach Buoy had to check that his wallet and mobile phone hadn't been taken.
As they walked down the ramp some ladies were leaving the beach.
'The Rocks make the sand easier to walk on.'
said one....

The tide was high.
The air was warm.

There was a man sat up near the stack, so Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog just rested using the bank of the dunes as a backrest.

Beach
Buoy had a look out at sea with the binoculars.
A fish jumped up out of the sea and skimmed across the surface.

Two Tugs left the river and crossed the bay to Hartlepool.
There was an instant change in the weather, the breeze changed to fresh and the smell of the Ocean crossed the beach.
It was so pleasant.

They sat and watched Driftwood Stubborn Dog as he stood at the water's edge.
Perhaps he was wishing the sea would pick him up and set him off on a trip of a lifetime.
The man left the stack so Beach Buoy went up and stack the stack.

They headed back.
The light was stunning.
Rays and beams of coloured light spanned out from the sun .
It looked like the light pouring through stained glass windows of  Cathedral on a bright  sunny day.
They went back to the van and made a cup of tea.
