SEATON SANDS 14 AUGUST 2020. A DAY OFF.

It was 6-25am on a misty morning.
The couple with a story of their own said their goodbyes.
A lady picked up her three-legged dog and headed down the promenade.
The world was more a PPE misted grey than rose tinted glasses  on today.

A Crow stood eating breakfast on the strand line.
A larger Seagull stood nearby, waiting its turn, knowing its place in the pecking order.

Rope and float beach cleaned.

Hundreds of Jellyfish was scattered along the beach.

They stacked a misty stack.

Two of the world war two anti-tank blocks looked a little like old friends looking out to sea.

They headed back to the van.
The only other on the beach was man morphing from a walker to a jogger and back again as he wished.

New Cup; Old Van.

Promenade passersby passed by.

Lunchtime saw the van parked up on Hartlepool's Headland.
A hopeful Seagull stood close by.

BEACH BUOY.

DRIFTWOOD STUBBORN DOG UPDATE.
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog have heard from DSD.

Am at Sea.
(not sure where though)
It has been really foggy.
I think I am south of Whitby?
A couple of days ago I floated into Whitby Harbour briefly.
I saw
that swing bridge that Beach Buoy never stops talking about.😀
Thought that I was going to be washed up on that little beach where Dracula was washed ashore, but the tide turned and took me back out to sea.
Another Seagull landed on me yesterday.
He was tired and a bit lost in the fog.
He was trying to reach Saltburn to see his Gullfriend.

Hope you two are beaching it lots.
Miss you.
