SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 03,FEB 2024.(p.m.)

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the northerly beach access ramp at 1-59 p.m.
The village church bells rang for 2.
There was a breeze from the west.
The beach alternated between sunny and cloudy.
There was plenty of people but plenty of room.
The tide was a fair way out.
Beach Buoy pulled up two hoods as a black cloud parked itself in front of the Sun.
They headed south to the sound of breaking waves and yapping dogs.

Beach Buoy found a rusty knife.

Beach Buoy tapped it on a nearby rock.
The rust broke off.
The blade looked like new.
Sheffield Stainless steel.

Avery large dog came over.
It looked like a wolf.
The owners called it back.
It didn't respond.
The dog caused concern but no damage.
Sorry Mate but "Sorry Mate." Isn't good enough.
Beach Buoy didn't respond.

Beach Buoy found a sea alley laid in the shingle.
He and Another Dog carried on south, to North Gare Pier.
He tried to wave to the stack from the beach below.
Such was the difference in heights that he couldn't see the dune edge from the sands.
The mass of grey rocks hid the view.

Eventually they cut back through the dunes.

Someone at the water's edge took a selfie then checked their mobile phone to see the result.

Another Dog led the way through the dunes to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Afternoon Mate."
It was 3-16 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy sat drinking coffee on a sloping driftwood log.
The log has a bit of a roll.

Beach Buoy had a bit of a cake.

Coffee and cake done.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.

Beach Art by others.

Beach Art also by others.

They had a slow walk back.

BEACH BUOY.
