SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 21,FEB 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog joined the beach at the northerly access ramp.
The one near the colourful beach huts.

HL 23.
The Beach number for the coastguards.
There was a mild breeze from the south west.
The tide looked to be about 50/50, neither in or out.

They headed southwards.
An elderly man in a flat cap led the way.
The chap would pause every now and then to do a sequence of arm exercises.

Purdy and her Mam passed by.
They chatted briefly.

Up ahead a couple arm in arm headed for the dunes.

It was bright now.
The rain had stopped.
A jogger and his Spaniel ran south wards, close to the sea as the Moon took notes.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog cut over towards the dunes.
Stones and shingle scattered around.
So much sand has gone.
They began the "Easy" route through the dunes, heading for Stubborn Dog Stack.
A lady jogger was heading their way as she weaved her way along the winding path.
Beach Buoy pulled Another Dog's lead tight as he stepped to one side to allow her to pass.
"Thank you."
"No bother."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

4-35 p.m.
"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on a bum-shaped rock.
He drank coffee.
Driftwood was definitely more forgiving than stone.
A lowering Sun shone, as the tide edged it's way in.
Beach Buoy unwound.

A jogger bounced by in front of stubborn dog stack.
"Alright mate."

They returned to the beach.
The wet sand reflected the light beautifully.

The Clock Tower and nearby houses.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back.

BEACH BUOY.
