SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 13, MARCH, 2023.

Monday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog set off for the beach.
It was 4-01 p.m.
It was mild, overcast with a 60% chance of rain.
They ended up 100% wet.
They reached the beach at 4-17.
8-52 B.S.T.
(BUS STATION TIME.)
They had company, in the shape of a gust of wind and raindrops too.
It blew from the west.

The tide was well out.
A Dad and lad unsuccessfully avoided wet feet at the water's edge.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
The rain was just random drops.

It was ominously dark out in the bay.
The sea usually mirrors the sky.
The were contrasting colours this afternoon.

A scatter of shingle had left a few bits and bobs.
They headed for the sandy slope.
Beach Buoy gathered four stones from the beach.
They were for Stubborn Dog Stack.

Beach Buoy added the stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Afternoon Mate."
A glance out to sea, showed a wall of weather heading their way.

A quick sip of coffee.
"See you mate."
They headed back to the beach.
The rain came.
It was torrential.
They reached the Promenade.
The lady with the Timid Border Collie was heading back too.
They both had hooded heads down in the rainfall.
They shared a wet "Hi " accompanied by a raised hand.
