01 FEB 2022. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach at 3-45 p.m.
It was as windy as a wind tunnel.
The wind was from the North.

They headed south on the narrow blustery beach.
A lone lady headed for the access ramp as she left the beach behind.

Sea birds flew low, close to the sea to try and make progress to the north.

Pebbles with legs played Chicken with the stormy sea. They ran to check the beach every time the sea sea pulled back, they scampered back as the sea inevitably came in once more.

They cut through the dunes to make their way to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy had placed a few stones into his beach bag for the stack.
Lots of Sea Buckthorn blocked parts of the dunes.
Beach Buoy scooped up both dogs to protect them from the sharp buckthorn branches.

Two young ladies headed south.
They must have thought that Beach Buoy was some kind of dog juggler?

"Afternoon Mate."
He patted
THE
Stone.
Beach Buoy drank coffee.
The dogs had a couple of treats each.
They headed back.
"See you Mate."

Dune Driftwood.

Two hoods came down, they were only acting as parachutes in the strong wind.
They left the dunes, returning to the beach.
They passed a young couple, sat in the dune edge.
The lad pointed out to sea as they talked.

Borrowed Dog and Another Dog were having a wonderful time.

They made their way back to the van.
Beach Buoy had reversed into position so that when side door was open, they were cosy, protected from the cold north wind.
Beach Buoy looked across the vast car park
Almost 5 p.m. and still light. 😎
