SEATON SANDS 05 SEPT 2020.

They left the house around 6 am.
A Dragonfly clung to the house wall next to the front door;
and so it begins.....
They reached the Car Park shortly afterwards.
Short short man was waiting for his beach companion.
A horse box had been unloaded.
The horse and rider were down on the beach already with their companions.
The companions were flying a drone, filming the horse and rider.
Unusually, the rider was not wearing protective head gear or riding type clothes either.
It looked more like a pop music video shoot, as the rider passed back and forth with the sunrise as a backdrop.
The rider flicking her long hair almost as much as the horse was flicking its tail.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog walked down to the water's edge, waiting for the Sun to break clear of the horizon.
A few more stood to the north, waiting too.

The tide was high, meaning it was a narrow beach.
The sea was calm, just rippled slightly by the a chilly breeze from the south west.
People appeared on the narrow beach.
It was a little too busy for Beach Buoy's liking.

A three-legged dog came to say hello and receive an ear rub.
It was missing a back leg. It sat down next to Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog as if it was sitting side- saddle.
The couple with a story of their own passed and with the ear rub box ticked,  the little three-legged dog played catch up.

It was a lovely way to start the day.

The sun hung over the sea as the moon hung over the dunes.

A broken fishing rod stuck up in the sand.
Beach Buoy beach cleaned this on the way back.
They stacked the stack.
The stack doesn't seem to be becoming any bigger.
The thing is, as the stack is built, sand gathers around it.

They headed back to the beach and went as far as the grey rocks.

A slow walk back to the van for a coffee.
They passed the 7 am club on the way and Mari the large poodle trotted over
to check if there was any ear rubs left; there was.
Then three-legged  dog came back for seconds.
'He'll have you there all day!' said its owner

As Beach Buoy sat with the side door of the van open waiting for a stubborn Stubborn Dog to drink the water that he had poured for him, Chocolate Pudding Dog and its owner passed by.
'Oh I'd love a camper van!'  she said.
'Think of all the adventures you could have.'
They chatted  a while as Chocolate Pudding Dog checked out the ear rubs on offer.
Goodbyes were said and coffee was drank.
Time to go...
BEACH BUOY.
