SEATON SANDS 04 09 2020.

It was 6-40 pm
There was a slight breeze from  the west and a unicyclist to the south.

They headed south.
Rain seemed to be pouring to the north, but thankfully it seemed to be heading out to sea.

The played Rain Russian Roulette and continued south to stack the stack.

They stood at the stack and watched as the rain continued it journey east, like some giant shower curtain drawing across the bay.

They rested on the Promenade Wall.
A man came and stood nearby.
They discussed the distant rain.
The man went on to inform Beach Buoy of what latitude line that they were stood on and the name of the first town you would reach if you went straight out to sea.
Apparently it is a town in Germany where two of the Great Escapers were caught, just miles from freedom.
And ... if you drew a line from where they were stood and crossed the cliff edge at Saltburn you would reach Rotterdam...
They said their goodbyes.

Beach Buoy drew an imaginary line from where he was stood through the lifeguard huts and it gave them a parking spot opposite the Village Green.
They drove there.
Coffee and Radio Two.
Tony Blackburn followed by Gary Davies.
Beach Buoy stepped out of the van to check that it hadn't changed into a DeLorean; it hadn't.
Good job , those flux capacitors are becoming harder to find by the day.
