SEATON SANDS, SEATON CAREW, HARTLEPOOL. 07 FEB. 2020.

Beach Buoy and SD arrived at 3-35pm
SD being Stubborn Dog not Scooby Doo.
The car park was busy.
Three Council Bin Wagons waited in line to go back to the depot.
Alongside were two horse boxes.
The day had started with frost and fog but now it is was very pleasant.
They headed down to the water's edge with the slightest of slight breezes whispering "Storm Coming."

Beach Buoy looked out to sea.
A Ship
POWERED BY NATURAL GAS
edged towards the river mouth and the tugs waiting there for it.
About a dozen small white sea birds flew south in an undulating line, looking like a strip of bunting blowing free in a gale.

They continued south.
To the left a milky sea and milky sky.
To the right the dunes with a milky sun.
Someone was stood on a high dune watching the gas powered ship come into port.

They went up to the dunes for a while, then headed back.
A man with two large brown dogs approached.
It turned out it was an ex-work mate of Beach Buoy's.
'Hiya.'
Handshake
'Nice Dogs.'

'Irish Wolfoodles.'
'I'm on a new diet.'
' Which one?'
'Four Month Dole Diet.'

'Sorry.'
Beach Buoy told him where he was working.
'You'll be alright there because you are head down arse up.'

Workmates phone rings.
'Its the boss... (wife.)

'Bye.'
'Bye.'

'Hello.'

BYE BYE.
