16, AUG 2023. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-25 p m.

It was bright and breezy.

Out in the Bay were lots of Yachts.

It had been a warm and muggy day.
People were dotted along the water's edge, enjoying the fresh breeze off the sea.

Wind Turbines spun with purpose.
Yachts tilted this way and that.

Leah and. Lucy.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
The tide was about half way in / halfway out.
Beach Buoy wondered if there was a name for the tide at this point?
Another Dog was on extendable lead.
Beach Buoy kicked a Beach-found ball for her, short distances.

A couple headed north.
The each had an arm around the others waist as they walked.
They were like two jigsaw pieces.
A perfect fit
Each there for the other.
Alone vounrable.
Together strong.
If they left go and fell, at least the beach would ease the fall.

A Large Gull joined Beach Buoy on the walk
It hung effortlessly in the dune edge updraught, gliding southwards.

They made their way across recently  exposed stones to reach The Sandy Slope.

"Evening Mate."
It was 8 p.m.
Beach Buoy four flattish stones to the stack.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy took long deep breaths of sea air.
It was only Wednesday but had felt like a long week.

Another Dog.
🤗

It was BOB O'CLOCK.
8-08 p.m.
Beach Buoy took a photograph of the setting sun.
As he lowered his mobile phone, the man who walks for miles passed by at Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Alright there ?"
asked a surprised Beach Buoy.
"Alright."
confirmed the man.

The man dropped down onto the beach below.
Hood up.
Phone in hand.
He walked more miles.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy said farewell to Winston.
a.k.a Stubborn Dog.
He and Another Dog returned to the beach.

The man who walks for miles was a dot in the distance.
A group stood to the north.

The group had been observing a Seal from an acceptable distance.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed towards the van.

The Very Very Wet Retriever led the way.
It and it's owner are usually morning visitors to the beach.
They had company this evening.

A figure sat looking out to sea.

A sit and think.

Up on the dune heights a figure stood in a black swirling cape-like gown.

BEACH BUOY.
