Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived for an evening walk.
It was 6-48 p.m.
A man with broad Yorkshire asked about the car park.
"It says it's locked at dusk.when is dusk?"
Beach Buoy reassured him.
"Ah reet just wanted t take kids t arcades."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed t beach.
South.
It was an evening of pale colours.
The tide was well out.
Around fifty inter-linked hearts were drawn in the sand.
They led to the sea like a pathway.
A lady with two children and two dogs made salty sea air memories for years to come.
A Beagle called Scout came to say hello.
A Dog called Buddy wanted to be friends.
A speedboat sped across the bay from the River Tees to Hartlepool.
"Evening Mate."
It was 7-21 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat a while with memories and a wobbly coffee.
"See you mate."
Someone heading South.
Barefoot.
Ankle-deep in sea.
A slow walk back.
People were trying to make the most of the Bank Holiday.
A lady and her four dogs exit stage left.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog did exactly the same.
Beach Buoy.
