Sunday morning.
Beach Buoy was up and about at 5-18.
Another Dog laid like curled up cat as Beach Buoy drank coffee as he played catch up with the beach blog.
They set off for the beach at 7-10 a.m.
The road and pavement were frozen.
It was still early, but somehow it felt late.
Lines of light blue and pale pink crossed the south of the bay.
The Village, felt asleep.
Finally a car passed them by.
Two Cars were in the car park.
Team Distant Wave were out on the sands somewhere.
It was 7-28 when Beach Buoy and Another Dog were stood on the beach.
No torch required, it was just light enough.
To the north, frost sand and seacoal.
They headed south.
The tide was out beyond the Seaton Carew Wreck.
There was a slight but cold breeze from the west.
They wandered along slowly.
Out in the bay the Sea Serpent rolled.
Shingle crunched underfoot.
Shingle became Mussel shells.
Hugo!
The big friendly dog came running from a fair distance.
Beach Buoy gave his beach pal a good neck scratch and shoulder rub.
Team Distant Wave reached the distant wave zone.
Distant waves and a distant "Morning." were exchanged.
They left the Mussel shells behind as they took aim at Stubborn Dog Stack.
7-57 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He drank coffee..
Three hoods were down.
A lady and her Border Collie passed north in the dunes just behind them.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple had already reached the grey rocks and were heading back as quickly as they had appeared.
Others.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked towards the North Gare Pier.
The sun rose beyond a
NO ENTRY
sign.
Despite the sun coming up, three hoods went back up.
They met a lovely couple with a Lhasapoo
They chatted a good while.
.BEACH BUOY.
