SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL, 03, JAN. 2023.

Beach Buoy set off on foot for the beach at 3-53 p.m.
It was damp and grey.
A damp grey wind blew from the south west.

The tide was well out.
Much of the beach was theirs alone.
A flag from a crab pot fluttered up on the dune edge.

The big dog with a dickie bow came bounding up.

"Alright ?"
"Alright? "
as the owners passed one another.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
An orange glow lit up part of the sky.
It was an industrial glow, not solar.
"See you mate "

They followed a black, seacoal path.
Before the walk was done the torch was out.
