SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 29, NOV. 2022.

"The seaview isn't yours to tax. " thought Beach Buoy as he walked into the car park.
Another Dog looked at Borrowed Dog, nodding in agreement.

Beach Buoy had ventured down to the beach earlier in the van.
The rain was pouring early on and the fact he had been up since 2-30 a.m. due to feeling unwell. So it was a quick look at the sea then off. He felt too unwell to even sit in the van listening to the rain.
It was 11-51 a.m. when the three reached the beach.
The beach combing Border Collie Couple were just leaving the beach.
Looked like a later than usual beach for them too?

The sea was angry and grey.
It looked like it was just minutes from high tide.
There was a slight but fresh breeze from the south west.
As an orange coated Beach Buoy headed south, black coated people turned like a tide from the south.
Beach Buoy paused to look at the sea.
It was rough.
From the level of the beach, the horizon was hidden by a rough sea as it broke up to ten watery steps out into the bay.
More colourfully people passed.
A lady in a mustard coat gave a knowing nod as she passed.

Another lady passed dressed in  camouflage with a bright pink scarf to complete the look.
A plump man in a track suit appeared from the dunes with his dog,
A plumper man in an orange coat followed.
A familiar face appeared.
"It's a late beach for you."
said one of the 7 a m. club.
"You too."answered Beach Buoy.
"Some T**t blocked me on the drive. I left them a note."
They won't do it again!
They went their separate ways.

Beach Buoy and the two dogs headed for the sandy slope.

"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone.
He added some more beach stones.
Beach Buoy pulled up three hoods as he watched a grey sea tumble under an equally grey sky.

The tide had turned, exposing a footprint free sandy surface as it did so.

The view north.

The dogs wondered if the dog treats has been remembered.
They had.

"See you mate."
They went back down the sandy slope to the beach below.

More dune edge claimed by the sea.

The Sea Serpent Marker.

The view will change forever on Wednesday...

Slow walk back.

People began walks of their own.

Detectorist.

 Back on foot.
