SEATON SANDS 10 OCT 2019.

It was an earlier Beach than last night.
It still ended up with rain.
So by the time Beach Buoy had faffed on with his fancy new waterproof trousers and Stubborn Dog's new waterproof coat it was already 5-15pm.
Stubborn Dog is not a fan of his new waterproofs, which are basically a onesie with trapdoor at the rear.
It is a bit of  challenge to get him into it.
Get the fourth paw in and the first one pops out.
...... repeat.

Finally they headed down the grey concrete ramp to the grey watery sea and the grey cloudy sky.
A couple were just leaving the beach to the sound of their feet doing the wet sand on shoes stomp.
Two hoods went up immediately.
Beach Buoy could hear the the fine but constant rainfall on the outer waterproof hood.
It was a damp and grey evening.
The only glimmer of light came from the shop front of a distant Ice Cream Parlour...

They headed to the Grey Rocks.
Around halfway along the beach the rainfall stopped.
The hoods came down.
Beach Buoy had a stand and think for a while.

They headed back
Stubborn Dog was Stubborn slipping his two front paws inside his waterproofs as he tried to sledge home....

Eventually the were back at the van.
The German Shepards Owners Club were just about to set off for the  beach.
Beach Buoy gave Stubborn Dog a drink, took off his coat and put the little dog in his van bed.
The little dog cleaned it's front paws as it waited for Beach Buoy...... again!
