| Beach Buoy and two dogs arrived at 5-10pm. The car park was almost empty. Free parking starts at 6pm. |

| The tide was out further than Beach Buoy had seen in a long while. Up near the strand line a metal detectorist walked with detector in hand and a shovel over his shoulder. He looked like a pantomime Dick Whittington, off to London. |
