The wind was biting and from the North. It was a two hoodie night, a snood and a Dut; a Hartlepool United Dut at that. About ten minutes into the walk the hoods went up, as the outer hoodie was zipped up; Beach Buoy realised how much it sounded like when you zip up a tent; cocooning the occupant snugly inside. A Flock of Seagulls stood at the water's edge, facing the strong cold wind. It was a actual Flock of Seagulls... Not the group from Liverpool, Popular in the 1980's FLOCK OF SEAGULLS Beach Buoy gave them a wide berth; just as he did back in the 80's, but they still took flight and disappeared. Beach Buoy did a Beach clean and collected the pram / pushchair tyre shown above. It could so easily end up around a Seal's neck. The two turned back at North Gare, the Sand Martins were noticeable by their absence, they would be cosy deep in their Sand hideouts. THE RSPB- SAND MARTIN LIFE CYCLE. |
