SEATON SANDS 28 MAY 2018.

It was 6-20am.
The Council workers with flashing Amber Lights and Hi Vis clothing, cleaned the Area with the help of the Seagulls dressed in White and Grey
Beach Buoy's was the first Car in the Car Park.
He parked in the South - East Corner.
A second Car soon came and parked at the opposite end of the Car Park.

Beach Buoy climbed over the low wall to the South and was on the Beach.
The occupant of the other Car  and his Dog went down the ramp to the Beach. He was dressed for two seasons; Shorts and winter coat on top half.
There was a Mist in the Bay and the sound of an electric buzzer type Fog Horn. The Headland and Wind Turbines had disappeared into the mist
Beach Buoy headed for the Strand line as the sound of an invisible boat chugged across the Bay.
The Two seasons Man was up in the Dunes and had been joined by a Lady and her Dog. Like Beach Buoy they were heading South. They kept popping in and out of view as they negotiated the Dune Slopes.
The Lady unfurled a Red, Pack a Mack type coat. It flapped in the breeze like a warning flag.
The Couple crossed down onto the Beach and claimed the Strand line as theirs!
Beach Buoy belatedly recognised the Man as the bird chaser  from Yesterday; he had brought back up today.

Beach Buoy alternated his hoods; up one minute down the next. He liked the freshness of the day in one way and the comfort of cosy isolation in another.

Beach Buoy photographed and collected another  Beached Balloon.

And another.

Beach Buoy is a slow Beach comber
So the 7 o'clock club came and went ... as did the Large Poodle, after it's regular Beach Buoy neck rub.

Beach Buoy had put the driftwood hand  from yesterdays blog into the sand. The thinking behind it was that it was waving at the Waves. As he returned to it on the way back... some PRAT had hung a used Dog Poo bag on it.

The Electric Buzzer was still sounding out its slightly annoying Call.
Beach Buoy thought how comforting it would be to swap it for one of those Deep Bellowing proper Fog Horns of Old.
The type you might of heard in an episode of Scooby Doo, where those "Pesky Kids."had exposed a Ghost Ship as a Hologram and the Pirate as the Town's Mayor.
The type that would send you to sleep even if you were living right next to it.
Beach Buoy recalled the photograph he was given during a Family Tree  quest.
The photograph was of his Great Grandfather; ringing the Fog bell on Hartlepool  Pier.
He never met him, but was told he was a Hero; getting the Sea Gallantry Medal in 1901 his part in shipwreck rescue.

The two Dawdlers finally reached the Car.
As Beach Buoy watered the Dog and made him comfy, three men headed along to the dead end of the promenade.
They walked three a breast.
The middle man looked like the team's spokesperson. Although he was talking loudly, the only word Beach Buoy could make out was "Referendum."
As the three approached the dead end wall, they all reached out to touch it, did an about turn and headed back from where they came

Beach Buoy photographed the #2minutebeachclean and drank Tea.
