BEACHES 13 MAY 2018.

It was around 7-15 a.m.
Beach Buoy and the Dog had waterproof coats on.
Beach Buoy had found it amusing that on a grassed junction that they went passed on the way to the Beach had two Ducks in residence; it was usually two Seagulls doing that little rain dance thing
There was a fine drizzle.
A figure just beat them to the Beach. The figure in a Long Yellow Raincoat and the brightest of Light Blue Wellingtons was dropped off in the Car Park from a large four wheel drive vehicle. The figure headed directly to the water's edge. Beach Buoy was worried that they would just keep on walking.
The figure arrived at the Sea and turned sharply and headed North.

Behind was what Beach Buoy called the 7 o'clock club; a group of regular Dog walkers.
Beach Buoy continued South.
They crossed a Beach draining Stream, the little Dog made a splashing noise as his paws went through the water.
As they crossed up to the rocks Beach Buoy's phone buzzed.
It was a News Flash.
Tessa Jowell  had died.
Beach Buoy doffed his cap and said "God Bless."
An effortless and silent Seagull drifted by overhead.

They stopped down near the Gare for a rest.
The Skylark was as vocal as always but as Beach Buoy looked up in the direction of the song, he could actually see the little bird clearly  against the Light Grey Sky.

On their way back they came upon  another of these research markers, it would get reported later.

A Dog and Jogger headed South.

As they headed back they checked an unusual line of Shingle, scattered close to the Dunes.

Later in the day Beach Buoy went to Middleton.
It was't relaxing.
There was "Stuff." going on.

Before long they were transported to North Gare Beach, they had parked in North Gare Car Park and walked  across a Golf Course.... It is allowed.

They sat on a log for a while, a bench is provided.

A piece of partially burnt drift wood caught Beach Buoy's eye, as did the dramatic clouds that filled the Sky.

To the North a Skylark Cloud appears.

They found a "Comfortable." rock to sit on to watch The Blue Lagoon slowly fill and the clouds go by.

It certainly was lovely weather.
Even the Clouds brought their trunks.

8-15 p.m.... back to Seaton Sands.

Beach Gargoyle.

Beach Buoy's little mate.

Beach Buoy counted his blessings.

Water rushed back to the Sea. Behind them, the tell tale sign of a funnel travelled along the Pier heading to Sea.
The River was about to give birth to another ship.
The lowering Sun cast a long shadow from the Ship on to The South Gare Pier, as if it was desperate to stay on land; some sort of umbilical  chord.

As they headed back Beach Buoy took a deep breath; it was breathtaking!

They enjoyed a slow walk back.

As the Sea slowly reclaimed the Beach as it's own...
for now.
