SEATON SANDS 31 MAY 2018

Finally after days of fog the Sun made an appearance. By the time Beach Buoy and two dogs arrived at the Beach  (7-28pm) the Sun had hazed over a little but it was still very pleasant.
There was a breeze from the South East.
They had travelled the short distance by car today.
A lady was riding a Bicycle fitted with panniers with one hand as she held her phone and talked in the other.
Beach Buoy had parked two cars down from a couple enjoying Fish  and Chips as they sat in the front seats of their vehicle.
Pale Grey Paper spotted with grease stains laid across the dashboard as they consumed their meal.
As he does from time to time Beach Buoy wandered from patch to patch of the Scattered Shingle looking for anything of interest.
Teenagers played in the Dunes.
There were High Screams in the Dunes and Ice Creams on the Sea Front. Beach Buoy hadn't noticed the Pied Wagtails on the Beach in previous years, they seem prevalent this year.
One was walking almost in line with Beach Buoy, the little dipping bird walked more than it flew.
When it did fly, it would flap close to the Sand as though it was trying to disturb the Sand flies.
A couple stood facing the Sea whilst watching their Dogs play in the water.
They reminded Beach Buoy of the Couple Sculpture up in Newbiggin by the Sea
COUPLE SCULPTURE.
Over the Dunes the Skylark sang sweetly as a Seagull drifted from  that direction and glided on the evening air for a couple of hundred metres, it eventually gave a single flap of it's wings and it continued on it's way.
The Sun brightened  and Beach Buoy's shadow made an appearance in front of him.
The shadow was obviously not a lover of the fog.

Beach Buoy turned and looked North and "The Couple." had headed back towards Seaton Carew Village.
It crossed Beach Buoy mind that it is funny how far apart you can end up when you are walking in different directions.

Beach Buoy wanted a sit and a think.
The Dogs wanted to walk!

They couldn't wait and tried to dig their way out.
The older dog giving guidance on Tunnel technique.

When questioned, the younger dog denied  any involvement
in the escape attempt.

Another balloon getting collected as part of Beach Buoy's
#2minutebeachclean.

He even picked up POO from the Beach.
