JUST A BIKE RIDE.
As the more observant will have noticed, Beach Buoy reached the Bus Station Clock Tower at 9-17 a.m.
It was a lovely day.
He rode along The Esplanade, north to Hartlepool Marina.
It was more of a Pensioner's Promenade this morning.
The tide was still well out.
People were few and far between.
He reached the northern end of The Esplanade.
He watched the Heron that was stood on a rock below Middleton Pier.
"Morning." said an American voice.
"Morning." said a Hartlepudlian one.
The man disappeared down the steps nearby.
Then back up.
"Trying to get my heart rate up." he explained.
He stopped to talk.
Beach Buoy informed him, dog walk done, then ride along The Esplanade adding that it's harder to hit a moving target.
"I get you Buddy, exactly. Where's the best place a bike?"
Beach Buoy suggested the local auction house.
The man thanked Beach Buoy and headed back southwards.
BEACH BUOY.
