Beach Buoy rose at 5-01 a.m.
For around an hour, he watched the clock and the world go around as he sipped strong coffee.
It was 6-10 when Beach Buoy and Another Dog pulled up in the car park.
Team One Black Ear were just heading for the southernmost access ramp.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Beach Buoy could see that the 7 a.m. club were heading south along the water's edge, Crows on tow.
He faffed at the van's side door, as he tried to tempt Another Dog to actually step out of the van.
By 6-20 they were on the beach.
It was sunny with a strong breeze from the south west.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
Down just beyond the most recent strand-line, it was clear that someone and their dog had taken the some route south as they had north.
It was warm enough.
A no coat day.
Hoodie, jeans, snood and hat.
Up ahead, Team One Black Ear.
Ahead of them, the 7 a.m. club.
In time the two groups chatted.
The 7 a.m. club reached Beach Buoy.
They chatted.
They went their separate ways.
Team One Black Ear reached Beach Buoy.
They chatted.
They went their separate ways.
The Sea sparkled.
The breeze blew.
The Skylarks sang.
A feather Cloud.
A Gull?
An Angel?
Or just a cloud?
That's your call.
Walking the low level route.
As the name suggests, the route is low, below the dune edge.
It offered shelter from the breeze.
A little suntrap.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7 a.m.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones and the red heart stone.
He patted
THE
stone.
He checked the water level in the wildlife bowl.
"Ooof Ken."
To the south, he noticed a Sand Martin Cloud.
He would be off to see them shortly.
In the meantime, he had a sit and think.
In time ...
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued southwards along the dunes.
The Skylark's Song was a beautiful one.
Approaching Sand Martin Corner.
Beach Buoy stood for a while trying to photograph the Sand Martins in flight.
A Sand Martin in flight.
Photograph of a Dog, looking at it's owner.
The dog is thinking....
"How many more!"
Beach Buoy crossed the rocks down on the beach...
To Another Dog's great delight, Beach Buoy took more photographs.
Some even had Sand Martins.
Last one, for today.
They headed back.
A Crow flew by as Beach Buoy waved to Stubborn Dog Stack from the beach below.
They headed back.
Team Muzzled Dog were just setting off, southwards.
""Morning."
"Hiya."
"Morning."
"Morning."
Back at the van, the litter pick lady was heading to her nearby car.
Beach Buoy handed over half a dozen beach toys that had picked up on his walks.
She placed them into her car with a thank you.
BEACH BUOY.
