Beach Buoy was up at 4-04 a.m.
He didn't rush out.
Not today.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the car park at 6-27 a.m.
Scruffy's Mam was walking along the Esplanade with a lady with a greyhound.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The lady who once fell off her bike walked southwards with her companion.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked down to the sea.
Perfect.
They began to walk southwards.
Swirls of seacoal were up ahead.
The 7 a.m. Club stopped for a chat.
"Morning Geoff."
"Morning Paul."
(This Paul.)
Beach Buoy mentioned counting blessings, been able to just walk on the beach etc.
The simple stuff.
The 7 a.m. club had just been thinking the very same thing.
They went their separate ways but with similar trains of thought.
It was overcast but calm.
There was light breeze from the west.
The Sun tried to break through.
It's effort was reflected on the surface of the sea.
Team One Black Ear came along.
Still minus Milo, their borrowed dog.
They chatted.
They went their seperate ways.
Beach Buoy carried on southwards, watching the different sea birds as he did so.
A thought crossed his mind.
"How come l only ever seen Kestrels in the evening?"
At that moment, a 7 a.m. moment he glanced to the dunes.
There at that moment was a Kestrel.
The 7 a.m. Kestrel.
Back to the north the beach looked to be quiet.
They continued south to the low level route.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-13.
Beach Buoy added five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He checked the water level.
Sit and think on a driftwood plank with plenty of rust.
Memories of Stubborn Dog...
He was one Stubborn character.
Cat in a dog costume.
"See you mate."
Just then a Pigeon flew by.
"Wheeeeeeee."
Beach Buoy did the vocal sound effect.
Ending with "Yankee Doodle Pigeon!"
Beach Buoy and Another Dog returned to the beach below, heading north.
Team Muzzled Dog headed south.
"Morning."
" Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."
The man who once had four dogs headed south with three.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Mr. Gunn/Lunn was heading south .
He stopped to chat.
Excellent Dog Alfie just trotted on.
Too many smells to sniff.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Mr.Gunn/Lunn told how someone had seen a deer in the dunes a day or two ago.
They went their separate ways.
A horse rider travelled the water's edge.
Horses become Sitting Ducks for by-the-sea photographs.
It always just looks like complete freedom.
The young lady with the Yorkshire Terrier stopped for a chat.
"Morning."
"Morning."
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy headed to the van.
He took a disposable barbecue and a broken glass bottle to an Esplanade bin.
The people who leave them should disposed of...
BEACH BUOY.
