Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
The first Cricket match of the season was underway.
It was an afternoon visit.
The second of the day.
They reached the southernmost access ramp
at 1-20 p.m.
The car park was busy, whereas the beach itself was surprisingly quiet.
They walked towards the sea, then south.
It was sunny with a breeze from the south west.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
The tide was a canny way in.
The sea looked lovely.
The waves were constant.
The sea wasn't rough by any stretch of the imagination.
Their regularity seemed to be because it was almost high tide.
Just Beach Buoy's theory.
He's no expert.
He stood awhile just watching the sea
They headed to the low level route.
Back up the short slope to Stubborn Dog Stack
"Afternoon Mate."
It was 1-59.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
A large amount of small black flies were up on the dune edge.
"See you mate."
They went and had a sit and think on the grey rocks on the beach below.
A fisherman was to the south on the rocks.
They headed back.
It was busier now.
A constant blind if people and dogs all wanting the water's edge.
It served to remind Beach Buoy of the joys of an early morning visit with a low tide.
BEACH BUOY.
