SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 10, APRIL 2025.

Thursday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-05 a.m.

There was no run to the sunrise today.

Low cloud saw to that.

They headed to the strand-line.

The beach was all but theirs.

The curtain of cloud .

Three yesterday, but Ten Oranges today.

A lady and her Labrador went to the water's edge before heading south.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

6-29 a.m.
The Sun cleared the clouds.

The route to Stubborn Dog Stack...

A lady walked the water's edge with two big dogs off their leads.

Thankfully she turned back.

She stopped to chat to the 7 a.m. club, they were heading south.

All the dogs barked but all seemed to be friendly enough.

Beach Brick.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.

6-50 a.m.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

He sat on a driftwood plank with plenty of rust.

Up at Stubborn Dog Stack.

Skylarks sang.
Still no Sand Martins.

A lady walked southwards on the beach below.
Her dog was on a long lead.
It was spooked by Beach Buoy and Another Dog's presence.
It barked and barked.
Then it barked some more.

The dog that wasn't happy with Beach Buoy and Another Dog at all.

Bang on 7 a.m. Beach Buoy took a sip of symbolic and hot coffee.

Beach Buoy stood and stretched.

"See you mate."

They returned to the beach.

The roads that take you, bring you back eventually.

Heading back to the sound of the sea and squeaking dog toys.

The man who once had four dogs but now has three, headed south.
They shared distant waves.
His dogs followed behind in a line as they so often do.

Team Muzzled Dog passed by, heading south.
They chatted briefly.
They went their separate ways.

Mr.Gunn/Lunn came along next.
It was Thursday.
Basil, the borrowed dog day.
The owners chatted.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of Basil and Excellent Dog Alfie.
They went their separate ways.

The tide had receded enough to expose the Seaton Carew Wreck once more.

The wreck today.

Two Crows walked nearby like two 1950s Bobbies on the beat.
