SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 17, APRIL 2025.

 Thursday.
Thursday evening.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach.
It was 6-50 p.m.
A young couple turned back at the comical Dog Ban Signage.
Beach Buoy heard the young man say.
"Oh, Dog Ban Area."

Beach Buoy called them back to the ramp.
He gave a lecture on the whole dog ban signage information.
They were the students wether they liked it or not.
They couple headed down the ramp with a "Thank you."

The tide was a fair way in.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

He spotted the elderly man with his elderly greyhound.

That's him to the right, near to the dunes.

He hadn't seen him or his dog since last summer.

They had shared distant waves and the odd "Evening."

Beach Buoy decided to head over to ask how he was.

They two men chatted.

The man wished that he lived in Seaton.

He had a bungalow at the end of a cul-de-sac.

"You see cars parked but no people."

Beach Buoy asked what the dog's name was.

"Meg."

The dog was a gentle soul.

Black in colour with greying of age on its nose.

Beach Buoy stroked the dogs head as she stared into Beach Buoy's eyes

Dogs do that sometimes.

Weighing you up.

Looking for trust.

The two men chatted and chatted.

They went their separate ways.

Beach Buoy was glad that he had stopped to talk.

He hoped the man was too.

The water's edge.
To the north.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the quieter south.
He collected five stones.

"Evening Mate."
7-24.
Beach Buoy added the five stones.
(All were suitable.)
He patted
THE
stone.
He had a sit and think on the driftwood plank with plenty of rust.

"See you mate."
Off to the beach below.

Back northwards, along the water's edge.

The Sea Serpent swam near to the marker.

A strange light above the Village.

Sadly, the photo doesn't capture the hint of rainbow colours that were on show.
