Beach Buoy parked up in Seaton Park Car Park.
He and Another Dog headed to the nearby beach.
It was 3-49 p.m.
It was overcast.
There was a slight breeze from the south west.
Out in the bay, a matching grey sea and sky.
A lady walked a big dog by the water's edge.
They headed south.
They usually do.
A man with hands in pockets walked the strand-line.
A couple walked slowly northwards with two dachshunds.
An Orange Ship left the river.
All too soon it turned to grey as it set off for the horizon.
"Afternoon Mate."
It was 4-22.
Beach Buoy added five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the well-worn plank with plenty of rust.
He drank coffee.
Coffee view.
The light was already fading.
"See you mate."
They slipped down onto the beach below.
They walked the water's edge.
They joined The Esplanade at the end of the dunes.
They walked The Esplanade, back to the van.
