Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog had parked up in Seaton Carew Park.
It was a chilly morning.
They headed to The Esplanade.
A man, older than Beach Buoy, walked The Esplanade in shorts and a pair of gloves.
He was walking back to his sea front house after an early sea swim.
Beach Buoy and the dogs reached the beach at 8-26 a.m.
Two hoods went up.
A man headed northwards along the distant waters edge with his small dog.
Steam rose from a warm sea on a cold day.
To the north, just a couple of people.
Beach Buoy and the dogs headed south.
The tide was way out.
They headed to the Seaton Carew Wreck.
The Wreck with The Clock Tower in the distance for reference for actual location.
The water's edge seems so far away from the wreck.
Out on the horizon a ship turned to round the Wind Turbines.
Beach Buoy and the dogs continued south to The Big Slope.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added five stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 9-02.
They sat a while.
The dogs on the sand.
Beach Buoy on a well-worn plank with plenty of rust.
The horizon ship was almost at the rivermouth.
"See you mate."
They slid down onto the beach below.
They headed north a short while to clear the grey rocks.
Once clear of the rocks they turned to head south.
Off to North Gare Pier.
Sea glass find in the shingle.
BREWERY?
TADCASTER?
YORK?
They wandered around the wonderful tank traps.
The Sea Serpent Marker.
They returned north as the tide began to fill low lying sands.
An elderly couple left the dunes.
The man wore a flamboyant hat.
The couple had two brown and white Spaniels.
They were both the size and shape of barrels.
Both dog's tails spun as they walked alongside.
Twin Propellers.
A not so slow walk back.
Beach Buoy stepped it out.
He is going to shift a bit of weight.
The Beach Tractor had cleared the beach steps after they became buried during to shifting sands.
Beach Buoy and the dogs climbed the steps.
They completed their walk on The Esplanade.
BEACH BUOY.
