SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 24, NOVEMBER 2024.

 Sunday.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.

Dottie Dog and Mam were heading there too.

They chatted briefly before going their own way.

It was 12-20 p.m. when Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived.

In the distance, Dottie Dog ran the water's edge.

There was a strong breeze from the west.

The tide was more in than it was out.

A family with a Labrador headed to the car park.

A man with a Spaniel walked the water's edge.

A figure walked the height of the dunes.

A man with a flat cap for company headed southwards.

At the dune edge, two detectorists searched for someone else's misfortune.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog climbed The Big Slope.
Beach Buoy paused to take a photograph, looking back north.

They reached Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
"Afternoon Mate."
It was 12-43.

He sat on the double-planked bench.

He sat looking at the sea.

A lady appeared, climbing up from the beach below.
Her family followed.

Beach Buoy realised that she hadn't seen him.
"Hello there."

"Oh didn't see you.
You made me jump."

All was calm and friendly.

The family took some photos from the stack's vantage point.
They headed back north along the "easy" route.

Beach Buoy waited a while before setting off.

"See you mate."
They slid down the small recently created slope to the beach below.

They headed back.

Beach Buoy pulled two hoods up.
It wasn't that chilly, it was just a bit more cosy.

They reached the edge of the dunes.
They cut back across the car park.

BEACH BUOY.
