SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 3, DEC. 2023.

               It had snowed overnight.....

If anything, it felt warmer than it had been yesterday.
They reached the car park at 7-05 a.m.
The snow and sand were both soft underfoot.
A contrast to yesterday's concrete-like frozen beach.

They walked down towards the sea.
Sea front lights seemed to shine on snow reflecting clouds.

Jet Black Crows were dotted around.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
Industrial riverside light was reflected all around.
It seemed to be so much lighter than it would have been without the snow.
A green light in the distance, turned out to be a small nervous dog, wearing an illuminated collar.
It's owner strode northwards as he talked loudly into his mobile phone.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued south in silence.
Sand to the left.
Snow to the right.

They began to walk the varying strand-lines.
Snow had fallen in-between differing tide heights.
It gave the beach different depths and shades of snow.

Beach Buoy gave Stubborn Dog Stack a distant wave.
The vast area of grey rocks were slippy enough at the best of times.
With a dusting of snow they were way too dangerous.

Beach Buoy drank his coffee and ate his
"Fun-size" snack  on foot.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog began a slow walk back to the north with the water's edge for company.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple walked south on a snow-edged strand-line.

The waves delivered jet black seacoal to contrast the covering of snow.

Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
Distant Waves were exchanged.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were already heading back
Their Border Collie chased imaginary birds on the dune edge.

The dunes looked frozen.
The scene made Beach Buoy realise that he should have left a white sky on a recent drawing that he had done of a snowy dune scene.
He has changed it to blue.
White looked better.

They headed back towards the van.

Beach Buoy chatted with the lady who's dog hates Shitzu dogs.
Poppies mam was their too.
She was dog-sitting two other dogs.
Buster and Cruise.

BEACH BUOY.
