Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach car park at 6-43 p.m.
It was overcast.
Fine water droplets hung in the air.
It was more of a fog than fine rain.
It was a grey but beautiful evening.
There was a light damp breeze off the sea.
A passing couple with a Retriever laughed at Another Dog being very Stubborn Dog.
Not long afterwards, a couple with a Huskey Pup laughed at Another Dog too.
The tide was high.
The beach was narrow.
At times driftwood can look like a piece of dramatic sculpture.
"Evening Mate."
It was 7-14.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Wobbly driftwood plank/bench coffee time.
The man who walks for miles walked the beach below.
He had no dog for company this evening.
Beach Buoy could have sat there all night.
Watch the sea rise and fall.
Watch the light go and then return.
The wobbly driftwood plank had become the most comfortable of seats.
In the end...
"See you mate "
Driftwood.
A few structural pieces had been washed up recently.
The tide seemed reluctant to leave.
Beach Buoy knew how it felt.
They headed up the access ramp to the van.
BEACH BUOY.
