Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-16 p.m.
The only thing thicker than the Fog were the car drivers with no headlights on.
A little friendly dog ran from a Car Park car.
"Defer!"
"Defer!"
shouted a lady with an accent that led Beach Buoy to think she maybe from north of the border?
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed down to the beach as a VW Polo with a big bore exhaust driven by a bigger bore drove diagonally across the Car Park.
It was foggy.
They headed in the direction of the sea.
The sea sounded to be well out.
It was hard to tell.
The fog muffles sound as well as sight.
They turned to head south, following tracks made by the beach clean tractor.
Ghostly figures passed one another in the fog.
A lady passed by quite closely.
She walked as she talked on her mobile phone.
She had a small black dog and fog coloured hair.
6-51.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He set up the wobbly driftwood plank.
He sat drinking a wobbly driftwood coffee.
He listened to the fog buzzer.
It seemed to become louder?
Maybe he was just concentrating more?
He could have stayed longer.
He could have popped up a pop-up tent and slept like a baby.
Another Dog was unsettled by the fog, constantly looking as if someone maybe coming.
One last look at a foggy Stubborn Dog Stack view and...
"See you mate."
They wandered along to The Sandy Slope.
He would finish the last of the coffee on the go.
It was 7 p.m.
As if on auto-pilot, they followed the tracks back to the north.
The fog brought back memories of the foggy morning that Beach Buoy brought Stubborn Dog's ashes to the beach.
An Invisible Dog barked an audible bark.
The tide began to claim the tracks.
Four people with two dogs headed south.
Another four people with another two dogs headed south also.
A dog called Alfie ran to the sea.
Beach Buoy and Another reached the beach access ramp as four lady swimmers were heading for a foggy swim.
In the Car Park, two horses were heading for their horseboxes.
Their beach walk went unseen.
BEACH BUOY.
