Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at
6-38 p.m.The Car Park was packed.
It has been a hot day.
It was a hot evening too.
Swarms of people headed to the sea to cool off.
A royal blue tide was high.
The Sun was bright, hot but low enough to cast footprint shadows along the beach.
Beach Buoy found a small bear at the water's edge.
"Hello Little Bear."
"I'm not a Bear, lm a Mermaid."
Fair enough thought Beach Buoy.
A determined couple almost marched southwards.
The determined couple returned to the village.
7-07 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
They shared a wobbly coffee...
....and a sit in the evening Sun.
They could hear barks and screams from the north.
It was good to feel far away from it all.
"See you mate."
They headed back.
Hoping the barks and screams had finished for the day.
The sky turned pink and torquoise.
7-45 p.m. Village Church Bells drifted across the beach.
Beach Buoy chatted to the man with an injured greyhound and a small ginger and white dog.
They had appeared from the dunes.
Beach Buoy warned him that it was packed to the north.
The man looked northwards beyond Beach Buoy.
"Oh sh*t, l hate summer."
BEACH BUOY.
