SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 26, JULY, 2023.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-38 p.m.
It was overcast but mild.

Horses walked the water's edge.

Family groups were scattered around.

The tide was well out this evening.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

A warm breeze blew from the west.

A family stood at the top of the highest dune.

A Brown and White Spaniel ran by with a burst football in it mouth.
It seemed to be the best toy ever?

7-08 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy had found a short plank.
He used it as a seat on the stack whilst he drank coffee.
He unwound...

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy hid the plank in some nearby Marram Grass for next time.

Beach Buoy walked a short dune walk to the Sandy Slope.

It was a slow walk back.
Beyond the breaking waves, Yachts sailed in the bay.
Around two-thirds of the way back the first raindrops fell.
The breeze became a wind in an instant.
The temperature dropped.
The rainfall was increasing.

Three people sat around a hopeful dune edge barbaque.
Hoping that the rain would hold off.
It didn't.
