21, JULY 2023. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Friday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived
 at 7-50 p.m.
It looked like it may rain.
They had coats.
It was mild, overcast with a breeze from the south.

Another photo shoot was in progress as the tide edged out.

Three ladies walked with linked arms as they headed north.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
A small boat crossed the bay.
South to North
The Tees to Hartlepool.

It looked like rain to the north.
Two ladies with three dogs came by.
One of the dogs, a Border Collie came to say hello with a tennis clenched tightly in its mouth.

By the time Beach Buoy and Another Dog had reached the Sandy Slope, the beach was theirs.
Beach Buoy looked at the sea and recalled past beaches.
All a beach walk but like a fingerprint all unique.
They climbed the slope.

"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Some awful person had removed many of the painted stones from the stack

Only two remaining painted stones remained.
Possibly because they were facing the sea away from the trodden walkway through the dunes ?

Beach Buoy found some of the others that had been thrown into the beach below Stubborn Dog Stack.

Found / returned.

Found / returned.

Found / returned.

Found / returned.

Beach Buoy replaced the found stone.
He out them facing the sea.
Away from the trodden walkway.
As he returned to the stack to return the stones, the man who walks for miles and miles was climbing down the nearby dune edge.
" It's ok. I have no dog"
Reassuring Beach Buoy that there was no need to fret about Another Dog while he had hands full of painted stones.

The man who walks for miles, walked a few more to the north.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy said farewell to Stubborn Dog.

They returned to the beach. A Gull gave the stack a fly by
Beach Buoy and Another Dog began a slow walk back, passing an ongoing photo shoot at 8-53 p.m.
