SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL 22, JULY, 2023

The day has been a washout.
Early beach was cancelled, leaving Beach Buoy all out of sorts all day long.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog eventually arrived at the beach at 7-25 p.m.

A family walked down the beach access ramp.
Dad had a can of beer in one hand.

The tide had not long turned from high.
The beach would gradually widen.

A couple with a Dashound dashed south, overtaking Beach Buoy and Another Dog.
Before too long they were dashing back northwards.

To the north, a family were having a stone throw competition.
They were going for distance, not amount of skims achieved.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for The Sandy Slope.

The man who walks for miles and miles dropped down from the dunes to the beach.
He headed north on his long circular route.

8-02 p.m.
"Evening Mate "
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy drank a coffee and ate a "Fun" size chocolate bar.
🕵️
Another Dog laid down, nearby
Beach Buoy watched waves break and birds fly.
Thank goodness for the beach.

The north end of the bay  was much darker looking than the south.

Another Dog.
Not quite as Stubborn as Stubborn Dog but she has her moments.

"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the beach below.

A slow walk back
Freshly exposed patches of shingle were well worth a beachcombing search.

Found years ago.
Returned to the sea months ago.
It's back.
It lay near the water's edge.
Beach Buoy popped into his beach bag for a second time.

They headed back towards the van.
It was a slow walk.
Beach Buoy savouried every step.
That morning beach was a big miss.

A drone flew close to the Little Tern Site.
A man with a campervan took a pee up against the Golf Club fence.
A man belched loudly as he stepped into his car with a broken exhaust.
The car belched too.

BEACH BUOY.
